Where to see the price details?
- On the search page - Click on ‘’View deal’’ and then on ‘’Deal details’’.
- On the payment checkout page - Once you click on ‘’Book’’, the price details will be listed here again for your overview.
Price details explanation
Depending on the hotel or local taxes and fees, or time of payment, the price can consist of different elements.
- Nightly rate - how much the room costs per night.
- Taxes and fees - Taxes and fees are generally recovery charges that TravelPirates pays to its partners (e.g. hotels).
- Local tax - Mandatory local taxes and/or fees will be collected by the property either at check-in or check-out.
- Total amount to pay Now - how much of the total cost you pay at the time of booking.
- Total amount to pay At property - how much of the total cost you’ll pay at the property (this applies to bookings with the Pay later option, or to locally collected taxes and fees).
- Currency information - you may be charged in a different currency than the one in which you browse. We will inform you if that is the case.
